Summit is seeking an Acquisitions Support II to support one of our Department of Defense partners for a full‑time position in San Diego, CA.

As an Acquisitions Support II, you will provide daily program, analytical, and acquisition management support to program offices and senior executives. This position focuses on developing acquisition documentation, supporting milestone reviews, and ensuring compliance with DoD acquisition processes. You will support the preparation of Acquisition Plans, Strategies, and Milestone packages; conduct research and provide recommendations on acquisition policies and procedures; assist with portfolio oversight, data calls, and reporting requirements; document and track action items from acquisition‑related meetings; and collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

This is a full‑time, on‑site position requiring U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Support preparation of acquisition documentation, including Acquisition Plans, Strategies, and Milestone packages

Conduct research and provide recommendations on acquisition policies and procedures

Assist with portfolio oversight, data calls, and reporting requirements

Document and track action items from acquisition‑related meetings

Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with contract requirements

Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field

3+ years of relevant acquisition/program support experience

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

U.S. Citizenship and possess a TS/SCI clearance
