Mental Health Counselor Position Available - Join Our Team in California
Are you enthusiastic about assisting people in enhancing their mental well-being? We are looking for a qualified and experienced mental health counselor who is committed to offering clients personalized treatment through tailored therapy sessions that promote their overall well-being and help them achieve their goals.
Job Type:
Full Time
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Salary:
$115,000 to $120,000 annually, plus benefits
Responsibilities
Conduct intake assessments and create tailored treatment plans for each client
Facilitate one-on-one and group therapy sessions focused on various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, etc.
Collaborate with other providers to ensure comprehensive support for patients
Participate in continuous education opportunities to stay current with industry best practices
Contribute ideas to improve service delivery and program effectiveness
Qualifications
Master's
degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling. Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution
Active license/certification in your respective state or jurisdiction ( LPCC ,
LCSW , or
LMFT )
Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals facing emotional challenges
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly
Experience using electronic medical records systems preferred but not required
