Pay Range: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00
Job Summary Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications. Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Documents and analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards. Requires a bachelor's degree of Engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. P01-Entry : Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
Job Responsibilities
Leverage your expert knowledge of electrical systems and materials to deliver precise quotations for complex projects
Apply comprehensive understanding of NEC (National Electric Code) to ensure all specifications meet industry standards
Lead training initiatives for new quotations team members, sharing your expertise to build organizational capability
Project Management & Customer Success
Manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously, expertly prioritizing deadlines while maintaining accuracy
Interpret electrical plans and specifications to quote diverse systems including elevator controls, starters, power distribution equipment, and contactors
Strategic Problem-Solving
Identify potential discrepancies and errors, developing insightful RFI questions that prevent costly mistakes
Collaborate with industry-leading gear manufacturers, ensuring accurate specifications and optimal solutions
Analyze vendor information to create valuable training resources for our sales team
Stay current with emerging technologies and new product developments in the electrical industry
Contribute to process improvements and best practices that enhance operational efficiency
Job Requirements Essential Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required
1-2 years of experience in the electrical industry with proven electrical gear quotation experience
Expert understanding of electrical drawing symbols and their application across various systems
Strong mathematical skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer applications
