What You’ll Get To Do The Safety Specialist II is focused on investigating incidents and employee care related to safety.
Perform work directly related to management or general business operations in his key role in coordinating and managing safety at the Terrell facility
Customarily and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment
Formulate, interpret or implement management policies or operating practices.
Evaluate operations, processes and equipment in the facility to determine compliance with all safe operating policies, facility written programs and OSHA requirements.
Carry out major assignments in conducting the operations of the business
Coordinate safety initiatives for facility to ensure the compliance with all applicable standards.
What We Are Looking For
Ability to read and interpret correctly the OSHA 1910 standards (OSHA 511 certification a plus)
Ability to manage multiple on‑going tasks to meet deadlines
Must be analytical and able to store data collection from waste water, air permits via spreadsheets, charts
3+ years’ experience in manufacturing and safety setting or relevant safety educational background
