SHR Talent is partnering with a growing healthcare organization in the Brentwood, TN area in its search for a Senior Financial Data Analyst. The Senior Financial Data Analyst will play a key role in driving data-backed financial insights, supporting executive decision-making, and improving overall business performance. As the Senior Financial Data Analyst, you will leverage strong analytical, technical, and business acumen to interpret complex financial data and transform it into actionable insights. The Senior Financial Data Analyst role involves building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, performing deep-dive financial analyses, and collaborating with leadership to support forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking initiatives. The ideal candidate for the Senior Financial Data Analyst opportunity will be highly proficient in Power BI, Excel, and data coding, specifically SQL, Python, or similar, with a proven track record of using data to improve operational and financial outcomes as well as excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical data to non-technical audiences, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and financial reporting tools that deliver meaningful insights to business leaders Perform complex financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic initiatives Consolidate, clean, and analyze large data sets from multiple systems to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams to drive data accuracy and transparency Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for senior leadership Automate and streamline reporting processes using coding and data analysis techniques such as SQL, Python, and VBA Support month-end and quarter-end close activities with data validation and reporting Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field 3 – 5+ years of experience in financial data analysis, Financial Planning & Analysis, or business analytics, ideally within healthcare or a data-driven organization Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel, specifically Pivot Tables, Power Query, and advanced formulas Strong experience with SQL, Python, or similar coding languages for financial and data analysis Solid understanding of financial statements, metrics, and business performance indicators Seniority level
