opening focused on stormwater planning and design, flood control, asset condition assessment, and water supply planning. Within our U.S. Planning, Water Resources, and Condition Assessment Business, we are driving growth through high‑impact projects for clients addressing stormwater management, flood control, aging infrastructure, and population resilience.
Key Responsibilities
Interface with innovative stormwater, water quality, and planning partners to leverage new technologies and approaches for the benefit of our clients
Lead the execution of water resources projects and act as Project Manager for services including the following:
Planning and/or design of stormwater improvements, including open channels, storm sewer systems, and stormwater detention/retention and retrofit facilities
Planning and/or design of green infrastructure and sustainable watershed measures, including structural BMPs
Planning and/or design of flood mitigation improvements, including dams, levees, reservoirs, and pump stations
Erosion and sediment control planning and design, including SWPPP development
Regulatory compliance and permitting efforts for USACE, FEMA, and other environmental permit submittals
Scenario planning efforts for SSO, stormwater, and TMDL compliance projects
Application of sophisticated watershed and receiving stream H&H and water quality models
Development of stormwater master plans and watershed management plans
Planning efforts related to supply diversification, collection/distribution system expansions and rehabilitation/repair, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of water resources planning and design experience
Experience developing and executing planning and water resource projects
Proficiency with one or more of the following applications and models:
HEC-RAS
HEC-HMS
EPA/XP-SWMM
InfoWorks
EFDC
CFD
ArcGIS
Experience with regulatory requirements and procedures
Support business development efforts
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program in the applicant’s home country or country of practice
Minimum of 5 years related work experience
Certifications P.E. – Registered Professional Engineer
Work Environment / Physical Demands Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
