The Club offers its members a diverse dining program featuring seasonal à la carte menus, casual and fine dining venues, and a robust calendar of member events, weddings, and private functions.
Position Overview The
Executive Sous Chef
plays a critical leadership role in the daily operation of the Club’s culinary program, working closely with the Executive Chef to ensure consistency, creativity, and excellence in every aspect of the member dining experience. This position oversees the day‑to‑day culinary staff, production schedules, and service execution across all outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff supervision.
Lead and motivate the culinary team to deliver consistent, high‑quality dining experiences across all outlets.
Oversee a la carte operations and ensure each dish meets FWCC’s standards for flavor, presentation, and timing.
Direct banquet and event production, coordinating effectively with service and event teams to ensure seamless execution.
Contribute to menu innovation and seasonal offerings aligned with member expectations and club standards.
Maintain cost controls, labor efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
Ensure adherence to all sanitation, safety, and compliance standards.
Serve as acting Chef in the Executive Chef’s absence.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience, preferably in a private club, fine dining, or luxury hospitality environment.
Strong background in both a la carte and banquet production.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop staff in a positive and professional manner.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
ServSafe certification and thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and member service.
