The Department of Pupil Services at Neshaminy School District is seeking a full-time secretary to provide support to both Pupil Services and Special Education. This 12-month position will assist department staff with daily office functions, including data entry. Key responsibilities include providing direct support to supervisory staff, teachers, and parents.

Additional duties include managing paperwork related to homelessness, foster care, School-Based Access, enrollment support for the Neshaminy School District Virtual Academy (NSDVA) and purchase order processes, as well as other tasks as assigned. The role will also involve analyzing and completing various state and federal reports, which requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management is required. Experience with student software programs is preferred, although prior experience with database programs is acceptable. The successful candidate must be proactive, highly organized, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

As this is a front-facing role, the ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with parents, staff, alternative and approved private schools, and other agencies is essential.

A high school diploma and a minimum of three years of experience as an administrative assistant, or a degree in a related field, are required. Prerequisite skills testing will also be required. The position requires the ability to lift at least 15 pounds.
