About the Opportunity
Phlebotomist role at Labcorp, a global clinical testing and diagnostic company, where each day you help clients and patients live healthier lives. We are seeking a skilled professional to join either a Patient Service Center or a Client office as the face of the company, delivering outstanding customer service while performing expert specimen collections.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation required
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Work Schedule & Location
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm • Holmdel, NJ
Compensation
Pay Range: $17.75 – $24.00 per hour. Eligible for the PST Incentive Plan, a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Employees scheduled at 20+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled under 20 hours per week are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan only.
