Job Description

• The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients, providing health routine care and life‑defining health decisions.
• The PSR I draws quality blood samples, prepares specimens for lab testing, and follows established practices and procedures.
• Directly contacts patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and collecting blood specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately.
• Demonstrates Leadership Behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, performs daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintains a safe and professional environment and adheres to required records and documentation.
• Promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• Preferred one year or more phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on‑site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on‑call and overtime.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Shift: Monday‑Friday 7 am‑4 pm; rotational Saturdays 8 am‑12:30 pm PST.
