Job Description The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients, providing health routine care and life‑defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples, prepares specimens for lab testing, and follows established practices and procedures. Directly contacts patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and collecting blood specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately. Demonstrates Leadership Behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information. Under the direction of the area supervisor, performs daily activities accurately and on time. Maintains a safe and professional environment and adheres to required records and documentation. Promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Minimum of 6 months experience. Preferred one year or more phlebotomy experience. Ability to provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on‑site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric. Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on‑call and overtime. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience required. Shift: Monday‑Friday 7 am‑4 pm; rotational Saturdays 8 am‑12:30 pm PST.
