Position Overview

PT Warehouse Supervisor at UPS in Kalispell, MT. This position supervises, trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production, and attendance. The supervisor sets and maintains high standards for account productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety while providing innovative leadership and fostering functional relationships across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, management, and customers
  • Facilitate training for new and current employees
  • Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, operating in full compliance with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements
  • Manage department resources to achieve maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Establish and promote a positive, team‑oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, inter‑departmental cooperation, and continual improvement at all levels
  • Implement employee personal development plans to support ongoing professional growth
  • Provide specific and detailed orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching for all department employees

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent (preferred)
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours up to 5 days per week
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience managing in a fast‑paced warehouse environment (preferred)
  • Management experience (preferred)
  • Permanent employment status
  • U.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent resident, or authorization to work in the U.S. for UPS
