Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Fort Worth, TX (onsite)
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone calls, transfer to appropriate parties or take messages correctly
- Greet visitors, inform staff of their arrival, and may be responsible for directing or escorting them to specific destinations
- Operate office equipment: computer terminal, fax machine, copy machine, postage meter, and multi-line telephone
- Open and sort incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail
- Maintain a written log of staff checking in and out
- Prepare memos, correspondence and presentations or other documents
- Maintain proper care of equipment, report problems and contact appropriate service personnel
- Perform data entry and posting of payments
- Schedule space or equipment for special programs and prepare lists of participants
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations during work hours in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
- Perform additional duties as required
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to interface well with all departments within the company
- Demonstrate effective communication with customers and external contacts to the organization
- Possess a moderate proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Show effective organizational skills
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: experience in a professional office environment
Pay Range
$13.08 - $19.90 per hour (market based on location, experience, and qualifications)
