Position Overview

Ryder is immediately hiring Permanent Full‑Time Forklift Operators in Newnan, Georgia. This role is a warehouse material handler position with a focus on forklift operation and general warehouse functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit and stage products, including tote induction and truck loading/unloading.
• Maintain day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour of production.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• One (1) year or more related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience (preferred).
• Valid forklift operator's license (certified).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse work environment.
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with a good attendance record.
• Initiative, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.
• Physical ability to lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule and shift (including flexible shift options).
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
