About The Company Our client is an alternative asset management firm focusing on investing in structured credit, special situations, and asset-based finance. The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for AP/AR functions and vendor management functions for the firm. Responsibilities Prepare monthly journal entries in support of month-end activities Prepare vendor invoices into the firm's accounting software Process weekly payment requests and employee reimbursements Process mail for the accounting department Prepare 1099 filings on an annual basis Assist with yearly corporate audits conducted by external auditors Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting required 1-3 years of accounting experience Knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting Prior experience in public accounting a plus Experience with Expensify and Sage Intacct preferred Salary Range $80,000-$100,000 Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries Staffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr
