Purpose and Scope

The Field Technician (FT) is responsible for making sure all equipment in the field is installed and maintained correctly at each customer’s site; also, responsible for good customer service relations including but not limited to consistent and clear communication with the client, proper follow-up, and providing solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install temperature monitoring devices and products
• Calibrate and maintain installed equipment
• Develop test procedures and fixturing as required
• Maintain field records and perform installation/operational and performance
• Answer emergency service situations

After receiving the proper training, the Field Technician will go on call and answer Emergency Service Situations.

Organization Relationships

The Field Technician reports to the National Service Director.

Job Requirements

• Education and Training: The Field Technician should have a two-year technical degree, or equivalent experience as determined by the National Service Director.
• Technical Requirements: The Field Technician is required to complete supervised in-house training as well as read and understand any pertinent training or department procedure manual. The Technician will be required to be proficient on all systems maintained by SafePoint Scientific.
• Experience: Prior experience is not required.
• Travel: Must be comfortable with travel.
