Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming will be a newly constructed facility in a high-traffic area in Calvert City, Kentucky at the intersection of I-69 and I-24. The Property will feature nearly 240 state-of-the-art historical racing machines ("HRMs"), a sports bar and a retail sportsbook, simulcast wagering, and food and beverage offerings. The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for leading the successful overall direction, administration, and coordination of all operating activities of Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming including Pre-opening activities, culture creation, staffing, compliance with all regulatory requirements, and the ongoing operations of historical racing machine operations, gaming operations, simulcast operations, sportsbook operations, and entertainment operations.

JOB SUMMARY

The Receiving Attendant will report to the Security Supervisor on coordinating receipts and returns of materials ordered by purchasing and ensuring that shipments are as ordered. This position will be responsible for distributing goods and mail within the company, including truck shipments, UPS, DHL, and FedEx deliveries, as well as handling all mail distribution and runner duties for deliveries and Pickups as assigned by management. Computer skills will be used to track orders, verify backorders, and access to Purchase Order index.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Opens as necessary, inspects for damage, and checks quantities received against Purchase Orders, assuring shortages are indicated on shipping papers, and overages returned to the vendor. Receives all shipments in JD Edwards systems and notifies department heads of short deliveries. The Image Now/JD Edwards PO and receipt system does not allow for backorders. The receiver will communicate all shipment shortages as backorders to departments for their determination of reordering. Forwards all packing lists and receiving tickets to Oak Grove Racing, Gaming and Hotel. Determines the most economical and quickest shipping method and affixes proper labeling to items sent. Packs as required and maintains a log for all mail and shipments received that require special handling in the receiver's hands. Coordinates damage claims, corresponding with the shipper to rectify shortages. Routes items to departments and operates a pallet jack as necessary. Drive company vehicle as necessary to pick up emergency items required to continue company operations, according to the schedule of work assignments. Distributes daily mail to departments and collects outgoing mail for the property. May be asked to operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that requires a valid Driver's License. Other tasks and duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Oral and written communication skills. Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure deadlines. Must be able to work an alternate schedule with a minimum of two (2) weeks' notice. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Preferred high school diploma or GED equivalent. Prior experience as a receiving and/or shipping clerk is preferred. Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
