Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Product Market Manager focusing on wireless solutions for smart metering networks to join the Kamstrup Product Management Team in Cumming, GA to aid Kamstrup’s rapid growth in North America.

The Senior Product Market Manager Wireless Networks is part of the North American Product Management team. The Senior Product Market Manager Wireless Networks role collaborates closely internally with the sales and technology organizations and externally with customers and industry experts. The Senior Product Market Manager Wireless Networks works in close co-operation with the global Product Management team on all roadmap, product strategy, and new product development activities. The Senior Product Market Manager Wireless Networks is a central position in gathering relevant market information and insights, defining future product requirements, and providing business case inputs based on your market and customer insights.

Responsibilities

Central point of contact for Product Management to the North American Sales Team. Contribute to future product strategies, collect customer input, and survey competitive products for new requirements. Gather market and product requirements and provide business case input. Manage pre-launch activities in close cooperation with Solution and Application Product Managers. Drive new product and solution launches together with Marketing and close co-operation with global Product Management and Technology. Work closely with global Product Management to ensure alignment and the right balance between North American market needs and global priorities. Set prices for the North American product portfolio and ensure these are uploaded to relevant systems and pricelists in cooperation with Sales and the overall Water BU strategy and margin aspirations. Support product and solution training for sales organization. Educate sales team in application knowledge and system solutions. Build-up application knowledge within water networks and utilities. Strategic sales support (i.e., RFP’s, new products/solutions, customer visits). Participate and present at trade shows, conferences, and technical seminars. Develop product and solutions presentations, product briefs, white papers, and application relevant articles together with Marketing. Assist Solution Product Manager track commercial product performance. Secure structured input for long-term product portfolio development for relevant market. Secure structured market input for commercial product managers regarding customer and product line requirements. Deliver market knowledge and understanding for relevant commercial product managers.

Personal & Professional Qualifications, Competencies And Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT or Mechanical or related field or experience. Experience in lieu of education will be considered. 10+ years of product management or water utility experience. Production optimization, continuous improvement, product configuration knowledge. Have international experience and knowledge to be successful in a global company. Strong technical as well as commercial skills. Have product management experience. Excellent collaboration skills and like to build up cross functional relationships – also on international level. Strong presentation and communication skills. Structured and analytic. Proactive and self-driven.
