is seeking a
Lead Veterinarian
to step into a key leadership role. This position is ideal for a seasoned doctor with proven leadership skills or for an associate veterinarian ready to grow into a leadership position with strong mentorship and support.
The Lead Veterinarian will serve as the medical authority within the hospital, overseeing clinical standards, guiding the veterinary team, and ensuring exceptional patient care. Working in partnership with practice management, this role also provides input on scheduling, staffing, and overall hospital success.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality veterinary medicine while leading by example
Mentor associate doctors, veterinary technicians, and support staff
Oversee medical protocols and ensure compliance with standards of care
Collaborate with hospital leadership to achieve operational and medical goals
Manage a diverse caseload, from wellness visits to surgical procedures
Serve as the veterinarian of record for hospital permits and licenses
Qualifications
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited program (or completion of ECFVG/PAVE)
Active Florida veterinary license (or eligibility for licensure)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong interest in mentorship and team development
