The Clinical Trials Coordinator ( CTC ) will work collectively within a multidisciplinary clinical/research team to ensure that all aspects of patient management are executed both timely and accurately. Incumbent must be comfortable working independently, managing interactions with and between team members, both internally and externally; ensuring that all NIH grant funded, industry-sponsored or investigator-driven studies/trials are managed to the highest quality to ensure safety and effectiveness. This position is primarily responsible for the accurate completion of visit procedures and collection of information from study patients according to protocols, and for protecting the health, safety, and welfare of research participants. The incumbent will promote improved access for patients to clinical trials, and facilitate research activities at the LSUHSC Sexual Health Clinic as assigned. At the CTC 1 or 2 level, an LPN and 2 additional years may substitute for the Bachelors.
