Overview
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer (Systems Integration & Test). The role involves technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of mission systems and technical writing.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Responsibilities
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Demonstrate knowledge of mission systems and applied technical writing.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or a related STEM discipline
Familiar with a lab test environment
Experience fostering effective collaboration across cross-functional teams and a range of stakeholders
Desired Skills
Working knowledge of F-35 platform, architecture and systems
Working knowledge of aircraft platform weapon systems, weapon types and functionality
Experience working in a classified environment
Familiar with one or more Systems Integration functions including:
System level requirements and Test Procedure development
System Integration, Test and/or Verification
Test planning and implementation with an understanding of all the interdependencies
Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office in addition to Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
