Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join our team. Gain hands-on experience handling a variety of litigation matters including wrongful death, contract and business disputes, premises liability, personal injury claims, and more. Handle every aspect of cases from inception to resolution, including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, arguing motions in court, attending mediations, and trial. Work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations, and collaborate closely with experienced partners and team members. Qualifications
4+ years of civil litigation experience involving general liability, construction, and/or personal/catastrophic injury, preferably in a law firm environment. Current membership in the California State Bar is required. Ability to handle cases independently from start to finish, including developing and implementing strategy, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, coordinating with experts, law and motion practice, interfacing with clients and opposing counsel, trial preparation, and attending mediations (trial experience is a plus). Exceptional communication and advocacy skills with a client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
