Base pay range: $140,000 - $170,000 per year.

We are seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join our award‑winning team. The role offers immediate hands‑on experience handling a variety of litigation matters involving wrongful death, contract and business disputes, premises liability, personal injury claims, and more. You will be responsible for developing legal strategy, conducting research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, arguing motions in court, attending mediations, and trial preparation. The position provides an excellent platform for professional growth with close collaboration with experienced partners and team members.

Responsibilities • Handle litigation matters from inception to resolution, including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery management, deposition execution, expert coordination, and trial preparation. • Argue motions in court, attend mediations, and represent clients in trial proceedings. • Collaborate with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations.

Requirements

4+ years of civil litigation experience handling matters involving general liability, construction, or personal/catastrophic injury, preferably in a law firm environment.

Current membership in the California State Bar is required.

Ability to handle cases independently from start to finish, including strategy development, discovery management, deposition handling, expert coordination, law‑and‑motion practice, trial preparation, and mediation attendance.

Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, a client‑focused mindset, and a passion for achieving successful outcomes.

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

This position is fully remote; the attorney must reside within one hour of Sacramento.
