Job Details We are in search of an experienced Controller to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands‑on professional with a strong background in accounting within the construction industry. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is comfortable being hands‑on with all accounting and finance functions as the company grows. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing internal controls and financial procedures.
Overseeing the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Directly managing all billing, collections, and accounts payable.
Forecast work in process schedules.
Managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and implementing financial strategies to drive business performance.
Identifying potential areas of cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision‑making issues affecting the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior‑level finance or accounting role within the construction industry.
In‑depth knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting is a must.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop a team.
Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation.
