OB Hospitalist
Baystate Health, western MA only academic center and tertiary care provider and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region or the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician to join our OB Hospitalist team at Baystate Medical Center.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Our OB/GYN team at Baystate Medical Center includes dedicated physicians, sub-specialist support, CNM’s and Labor and Delivery nurses and PCT’s. The OB Hospitalist delivers inpatient obstetrical care on an emergency and routine basis and provides clinical supervision of the OB triage unit, staffed 24/7 by experienced Certified Nurse Midwives. The department has roughly 4,200 deliveries annually with a high proportion of high-risk pregnancies and a level 3 NICU.
Flexibility with scheduling 12 & 24 hour shifts. Inpatient only. No call.
Practice in an academic environment consisting of 24 OB/GYN residents, medical students and advanced practice providers. Faculty appointment to UMASS Medical School-Baystate.

Qualifications Qualified applicants will be American board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Comfortable with complicated operative deliveries and maternal complications of gestation and have experience working with residents, Maternal Fetal Medicine consultants and Certified Nurse Midwives.
