Day 5x8-Hour (06:30 - 15:00), variable start times between 6:30 AM – 10:00 AM and end times 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills and Requirements The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT imaging, under physician supervision. Responsibilities include preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing imaging studies using Siemens equipment, maintaining radiation safety standards, and providing high-quality patient care. Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine or PET Technologist Active BLS certification NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certification NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT) certification State license (SCRQSA) in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or CT Radiation badge (must be provided by agency) Proficiency with Siemens equipment Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level I or II trauma center Teaching hospital experience Familiarity with Epic charting system Skills and Modalities: PET, SPECT, and general nuclear medicine studies (bone, brain, liver, renal, myocardial, thyroid, tumor localization, HIDA, gastric emptying, MUGA, and lung scans) IV insertion and venipuncture Handling and disposal of radioactive materials Performing both pharmacologic and exercise stress testing Experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations Additional Details: Weekend requirement: May work 1 Saturday every 4 weeks based on department needs No on-call or holiday requirements Floating: Not required About HonorVet Technologies
