Day Shift | 3x12-Hour (08:00 AM – 08:30 PM) | Thursday–Saturday Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Perform CT scans for adult and geriatric patients in a Level I Trauma and teaching hospital environment. Conduct cardiac-focused imaging (approximately 75% cardiac exams), along with routine studies, stroke patients, and IR procedures. Operate Siemens Force, Alpha, and X.CITE CT scanners. Prepare and administer contrast media, follow radiation safety protocols, and start peripheral IVs. Expected to float between buildings and support multiple units as needed. On-call rotation participation required. Required Experience and Skills: Minimum 2 years of experience; Level I Trauma experience required. Proficiency with Siemens CT equipment and Epic charting system. Strong knowledge of adult acute care, emergency department, and ICU imaging. Demonstrated ability in advanced image processing: multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), region of interest measurement (ROI), and 3D rendering. Preferred Experience: Teaching and community hospital background. Experience performing biopsies, drainages, and vascular studies. Familiarity with NICU/cardiac centers and Sectra PACS systems. Certifications (Required): ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) BLS Certification South Carolina State License (SCRQSA) Agency must provide radiation badge Work Environment: Setting: Heart and Vascular Hospital (Adult Acute Care, Emergency Department, ICU) Daily Caseload: Approximately 60 exams per day across 3 CT rooms Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Floating: Required within scope and to sister facilities
