Program/Project Manager We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program/Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex enterprise software projects from initiation through to deployment, specifically with commercial CLM solutions like Icertis, Conga, DocuSign CLM, Malbek, Agiloft, or Ironclad.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership:
Manage the end-to-end execution of the CLM implementation program, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Team Management:
Solution Architects:
Guide the architectural design and technical strategy, ensuring the solution is scalable, secure, and integrated with other enterprise systems.
Business Analysts:
Oversee requirements gathering workshops, process mapping, and the translation of business needs into functional specifications and configuration requirements.
Configuration Engineers:
Direct the technical build and configuration of the CLM platform based on the functional and technical designs.
Data Migration and Integration Engineers:
Coordinate various teams across business systems to migrate legacy Contract Documents into a new CLM system, to collectively deliver end-to-end automated workflows and use cases.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and maintain the program roadmap, defining key milestones and objectives in alignment with the organization’s long-term goals.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across the business (legal, sales, procurement, finance), communicating program status, managing expectations, and driving decision‑making at the executive level.
Risk and Issue Management:
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, developing contingency plans to ensure project continuity.
Vendor Management:
Manage the relationship with the CLM software vendor and any third‑party system integrators to ensure deliverables and timelines are met.
Communication and Training:
Develop communication and training plans to ensure successful user adoption of the new CLM system.
Testing and Deployment:
Oversee the creation of test cases, manage user acceptance testing (UAT), and coordinate the deployment activities across multiple environments.
Reporting and Metrics:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus. At least 8‑10 years of experience managing enterprise software implementations, with a minimum of 3‑5 years focused specifically on CLM.
Project Management Expertise:
Deep understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and experience with tools like MS Project, Jira, or similar. PMP or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
Hands‑on CLM Experience:
Experience with at least one major commercial CLM platform (e.g., Icertis, Conga, DocuSign CLM, Malbek, Agiloft, Ironclad; SAP Ariba is highly preferred).
Domain Expertise:
Strong understanding of the contract lifecycle in the context of Procure‑to‑Pay and Quote‑to‑Cash business processes across legal, sales, and procurement functions.
Technical Acumen:
Ability to understand technical concepts related to system architecture, integrations (APIs), data migration, and security.
