Elcor is seeking a dynamic and experienced

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

to join our leadership team. The ADON will assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and supporting our nursing team to provide the highest quality of resident‑centered care. This position is ideal for an RN leader who is passionate about mentorship, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

Support the Director of Nursing in managing and evaluating nursing services across the facility. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and Elcor’s policies and standards of care. Provide leadership, education, and guidance to nursing staff to promote excellence in clinical performance. Participate in daily rounds, care plan meetings, and quality assurance initiatives. Assist with staff orientation, training, and evaluations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal resident outcomes. Support staffing and scheduling to maintain adequate coverage. Qualifications

Current

Registered Nurse (RN)

license in New York State. Minimum of

3 years of long‑term care or skilled nursing experience

required. Prior

supervisory or leadership experience

strongly preferred. Solid understanding of NYS DOH regulations and clinical best practices. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Commitment to resident‑centered care and a positive team culture. Why Join Elcor
