Software Engineer - Endur
and help deliver innovative IT solutions that drive safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Note: This is a short term contract assignment starting November 24, 2025 and ending May 22, 2026.
What You’ll Do
Architect & Build:
Design, prototype, and deploy cutting-edge solutions for complex trading environments.
Collaborate:
Partner with IT and business stakeholders to enhance and maintain mission-critical systems.
Full Lifecycle Ownership:
Lead projects from requirements gathering through design, coding, testing, implementation, and production support.
Drive Innovation:
Deliver scalable, sustainable solutions for global business needs, leveraging the latest technologies.
DevOps Mindset:
Engage in backlog management, automated testing, release cycles, and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Impact:
Work with third-party vendors and contribute to global IT initiatives.
What You Bring
Experience:
5–7 years in corporate IT, with a strong background in Energy/Commodity Trading and Risk Management (ETRM/CTRM).
Technical Mastery:
Hands-on expertise with OpenLink Endur v11+, including JVS and OpenComponents.
Programming Skills:
Proficiency in Java, .NET, Oracle Database, SQL/PL-SQL, and Informatica.
Performance Focus:
Advanced SQL tuning and deep knowledge of Endur schema.
Process Know-How:
Experience with Connex, Grid Enabled Scripts, Operation Services, and Trade Process Management (TPM).
Best Practices:
Solid grasp of software design, architecture principles, and coding standards.
Modern Tools:
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, VSTS, and GIT.
Business Acumen:
Exposure to Trade Capture, Risk Management, Scheduling & Operations, or Settlements & Accounting within trading systems.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
