The University of Oklahoma is seeking a dedicated Senior HR Business Partner to support our Tulsa OU Campus. In this role, you will balance daily HR transactional activities with providing strategic coaching and guidance to faculty and staff. Serves as a trusted advisor, strategic partner, and subject matter expert in employee relations, performance management, positive discipline, and workplace disputes. Provides confidential support to management and staff, working closely with Legal Counsel and key stakeholders to guide appropriate actions and mitigate risk. Performs HR outreach visits to departments for on‑site problem solving. Provides internal customer service to HR staff for policy guidance and overlapping situations. Qualifications
36 months of professional HR experience in Employee Relations or related field. 60+ months of progressive HR work experience. Previous OU experience, particularly in Human Resources. Previous experience directly related to positive discipline (performance management), coaching, and mentoring. Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or Cornerstone. Advertised Physical Requirements
Must be able to engage in repetitive motions and communicate effectively. Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods; ability to use computer daily. Sit for prolonged periods. Special Instructions
