Cleveland Clinic
The Cleveland Clinic's Neurological Institute, Department of Psychiatry and Psychology is seeking neuropsychiatrists to work in the Cleveland, Ohio and Weston, Florida locations. The department is in a midst of a strategic expansion of neuropsychiatric services in key areas of Center for Brain Health (Neurodegenerative Disorders), Epilepsy Center, Multiple Sclerosis Center, and Center for Neurological Restoration (Movement Disorders).
The Department of Psychiatry and Psychology resides on the Cleveland Clinic's main campus in Northeast Ohio, with 100 psychiatry and psychology faculty who have primary or joint appointments in the department, as well as 40 Advanced Practice Providers and 20 social workers, making the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology one of the largest departments within the Neurological Institute. Servicing 200 inpatient psychiatric beds and robust outpatient psychiatric hubs, we have a growing psychiatric treatment‑resistant program, offering ECT, TMS, ketamine, and participation in psychedelic trials. The access to cutting edge imaging and electrophysiology expertise within the Neurological Institute, as well as the Cleveland Clinic Brain Study, is setting the foundation for innovative interdisciplinary care and discovery.
In Weston, Florida, there is a strong need for neuropsychiatry consultations for the growth of neurodegenerative, epilepsy, and movement disorder service lines, with telepsychiatry consultations to other Cleveland Clinic hospitals on the Treasure Coast.
In early 2027, the Neurological Institute will inaugurate an exciting and state of the art, 1 million square feet Neurologic Institute building in Cleveland, Ohio, which will afford incredible clinical care, academic, and research opportunities for our department and neuropsychiatry section. Developing a robust neuropsychiatry track for our Adult Psychiatry programs and Consultation‑Liaison (CL) Psychiatry training programs is a priority, integrating scholarly activities with the Neurology programs and (BNNP) Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry fellowship.
Dual trained psychiatry and neurology clinicians and psychiatrists with CL or BNNP fellowship training are highly desired candidates to apply for these exciting career opportunities. The position includes an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
