Job Overview We are searching for an SAP NS2 S/4HANA Manufacturing, PEO/CAMS Principal Consultant to support secure, mission‑critical solution delivery for U.S. Aerospace and Department of Defense customers. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing and Production Engineering and Operations (PEO), with hands‑on experience deploying PEO and CAMS in complex manufacturing environments. This role requires strong knowledge of Project Systems, Materials Management, Production Planning, Quality Management, and Inventory Management, along with experience in Engineering Change Management, Variant Configuration, and Model‑Unit Effectivity. Prior experience in Aerospace or Defense environments and U.S. citizenship is required.
Skills
Knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA Manufacturing
Experienced with Project Systems (PS), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Inventory Management (IM)
Knowledge of SAP CAMS or PEO
Prior experience deploying PEO at manufacturing organizations leveraging Engineer‑To‑Order, Assemble‑To‑Order, Make‑To‑Order & Make‑To‑Stock strategies
Experience configuring PEO for complex assembly including Model‑Unit Effectivity, Variant Configuration, Production Planning, and Quality Management
Interface client resources representing business process areas of Production Planning, Manufacturing Operations, and Engineering
Hands‑on experience deploying PEO functionality supporting Engineering Change Management (ECM)
Industry
Aerospace and Defense or Department of Defense industry experience required
Qualifications
Knowledge of ‘Production Engineering and Operations’ (PEO) functionality in SAP S/4
Experience deploying ‘Change Impact Analysis’ capability in PEO
Experience with conversion of EBOM to MBOM using PEO
Experience defining master data including Engineering Data, Manufacturing Planning, Shop Floor Execution to SAP ECC and S4 ERP
Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations modules such as Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM)
High level understanding of Machine Learning and AI for process improvement
Communication and Collaboration
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment
May be responsible for performing as a mentor and subject matter expert
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Eagerness to learn quickly and effectively
Effective teamwork
Education
10+ Years Experience: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Engineering, Information Technologies or equivalent training and job experience
SAP and Professional Certifications Desired
Mobility
Travel: 0-50%, depending on customer location
Compensation The targeted combined range for this position is 151,900 - 340,900 USD. The actual amount to be offered will be within that range, dependent on the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc., as determined through the selection process.
