What Is The Role Are you a visionary leader ready to make a big impact? Elastic is seeking a dynamic VP of Services to lead our Americas organization. Reporting to the Global VP of Services, you’ll lead and inspire a team driving services sales and delivery to help customers realize the full power of Elastic.

As an Elastic VP of Professional Services, you will work with the Consulting Services team to service our global customer base on billable projects. Our customers include Fortune 100 companies, startups, government entities, and nonprofits researching some of the world’s most interesting and complex search problems. The consulting team assists customers in the use of our products toward these efforts. The VP of Professional Services will be a customer-facing role for leading our consulting team, developing new business in the region, meeting financial targets, and building strong relationships both within Elastic and with our customers and partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead, inspire, and scale a high-performing team of Services leaders across the Americas

Define and execute a bold regional strategy aligned with our global vision

Drive operational excellence while translating strategy into measurable results

Track key metrics to maximize customer satisfaction, retention, and impact

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Represent Elastic Services with credibility and influence to leadership, customers, and cross-functional partners

Travel as needed to engage with customers and support regional initiatives

What You Bring

2nd or 3rd line leadership experience leading large services teams in a software company with multi-billion dollar revenues

Proven success leading large, dynamic teams in SaaS or high-growth software companies

12+ years in Professional Services or customer-facing services organizations

Strong executive presence, with exceptional influencing, presentation, and business insight skills

High integrity, authenticity, and humility

Track record of building, scaling, and developing high-performing teams

Experience designing and scaling services offerings that drive business growth

Comfort engaging with executive sponsors and delivering impactful customer outcomes

Strategic mentality with operational excellence and attention to detail

Compensation and Benefits Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. The role does not have a variable compensation component. The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; the San Francisco Bay Area, CA; and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified. The ranges may be adjusted in the future.

An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. Elastic also offers stock participation and a 401k with company match up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with other benefits focused on employee well-being.

$359,900—$569,250 USD .
