Interventional Cardiology NP/PA – MedStar Washington Hospital Center
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the MHVI: In‑Patient and Interventional Cardiology team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. This role will work closely with a hospitalist team to care for general and interventional cardiology patients in an inpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
Work with general and interventional cardiology patients, including comprehensive care and new cutting‑edge procedures.
Collaborate with the hospitalist team to provide inpatient cardiovascular care.
Assist with various cardiac procedures and patient evaluations.
Ensure continuity of care during day, evening, and rotating weekend shifts.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in an ICU or cardiology setting.
Strong clinical knowledge of cardiac care and interventional procedures.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced inpatient environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
