We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Vascular Surgery team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. We're helping move cardiovascular care forward regionally and nationally through our MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute, with clinical research, better diagnostic tools, and advanced treatments that are always patient focused. This role will be PRN.
Responsibilities
Pre- and post-operative care, determine plan of care, H&Ps, document progress notes, provide patient education, conduct follow-ups, cardiac evaluations, and respond to urgent clinical inquiries.
Schedule and Commitments
Shifts will include days, evenings, and weekends and require a commitment of at least one shift per week.
Qualifications and Ideal Candidate
Background experience in vascular surgery or a surgical setting is preferred. Open to new graduates.
