Ocean Import/Export Specialist Location Seattle, Washington
Job Description Join the Ocean Freight division of a top global freight forwarder in Seattle. You’ll manage international ocean shipments, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with carriers, brokers, and customers for smooth end-to-end logistics.
Responsibilities Handle full-cycle ocean import and export operations Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation Coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, and clients Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and international trade regulations
Qualifications 1+ year experience in ocean import/export for a freight forwarder Knowledge of customs, FMC, and global trade processes Proficient with freight forwarding software (CargoWise, SAP, AS400) Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
