Specialist Director, Governance, Risk, & Compliance
This position will be responsible for management of the Anti‑Bribery and Corruption ("ABC") programmatic functions. These duties include oversight of analysts conducting due diligence, conducting quality control over due diligence screenings and processes, drafting procedures and policies, and identifying risk areas and will assist in development and implementation of risk mitigation efforts.
Essential Functions
Day‑to‑day responsibility for ABC screening program
Quality control over procedures, including ensuring business has provided information on all high risk vendors
Oversight and management of team of analysts in ABC program – develop direct reports by providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback aligned with business goals.
Drafting and updating policies and procedures for ABC compliance
Identifying ABC risk and designing or adjusting program to address evolving or new risk
SME for ABC training and questions from business
Design and implement awareness tools to communicate information on the ABC program to the business, including updating the Hub
Monitor laws, regulations, standards, and industry best practices and recommend modifications to the ethics and compliance program consistent with changes or trends.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Compliance or legal related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, including management of ABC programmatic functions
Understanding of external benchmarks of effective corporate compliance programs, including U.S. Department of Justice guidance and European equivalents
Experience in ethics and compliance activities within a large, multinational organization
Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Power BI a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Scope: Global responsibilities across all brands, collaborating with both shoreside and shipboard personnel
Problem solving: Addressing complex compliance issues and designing programs to mitigate risks.
Impact: Ensuring high ethical standards and compliance across the organization, affecting long‑term business integrity.
Leadership: Managing a team of analysts, overseeing their performance, and ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
Physical Demands: Requires regular movement throughout company facilities.
Travel: No or very little travel likely.
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate‑controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
This position is classified as “in‑office.” As an in‑office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
