We are looking for a Competitive Intelligence and Market Insights AI Specialist to join the VP of Innovation & AI team at Adtalem Global Education.

Job Description As a core member of the VP of Innovation & AI’s team, the Competitive Intelligence and Market Insights AI Specialist will be our go‑to expert for understanding what’s happening in the world of AI and education. You will keep a constant pulse on new technologies, competitors, and market trends that could give Adtalem an advantage in attracting students, helping them succeed, enhancing teaching, and running our operations more efficiently.
Monitor peer and competitor schools and innovative companies in student recruitment, success, learning, and daily operations to influence enterprise‑wide AI initiatives.
Actively research and evaluate AI companies, vendors, research labs, and technology partners that could drive our AI roadmap.
Continuously research new developments in AI for education and business automation through academic studies, industry reports, and startup news.
Turn complicated research into clear presentations, one‑page summaries, and visual dashboards that executives can easily understand.
Create scorecards that show how mature each technology is, how well it would integrate with our systems, and the strategic value of the technology.
Build and maintain a dynamic blend of dashboards and deliver regular updates to the VP of Innovation & AI.
Help create content and intelligence reports that the Innovation & AI team can share throughout the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, market intelligence and research, technology or a related field.
Two or more years of experience in market intelligence and research, competitive analysis, or strategy work at a top consulting firm or fast‑moving corporate strategy team.
Experience researching online education, higher education technology, or health care technology.
Hands‑on familiarity with AI/ML concepts, generative AI platforms, and adaptive learning tools.
Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities: benchmarking, primary interviews, survey design, basic financial modeling.
Proficiency with market research platforms and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Proven track record building and scaling intelligence dashboards or partner evaluation frameworks.
Exceptional writing and presentation skills; adept at crafting executive‑quality decks and concise briefs.
Insatiable curiosity about AI technologies, educational innovation, and enterprise process optimization.
Self‑starter with strong project management and the ability to juggle multiple research streams at pace.
Strong organizational influence skills.
Benefits In support of pay transparency laws, the expected salary range is between $61,720.78 and $108,334.92, adjusted for experience, location, and other factors.
