Apps Support Sr Analyst – Assistant Vice President – Citi Join Citi as an Apps Support Senior Analyst, reporting to the Assistant Vice President. You will provide technical and business support for Citi applications, driving stability, efficiency, and effectiveness across our global systems.

Responsibilities

Provide quick resolutions to application issues, maintaining high service levels and business continuity.

Maintain application systems beyond the development stage, ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

Manage, maintain, and support applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality, and functionality against SLA expectations.

Conduct start‑of‑day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover procedures.

Perform same‑day risk reconciliations and assess risk/impact of production issues.

Develop and maintain technical support documentation and contingency plans.

Collaborate with development and production support teams to prioritize bug fixes and tooling requirements.

Participate in application releases, from development through testing to production deployment.

Act as liaison between users, internal technology groups, and vendors.

Coach and support new or junior analysts; act as subject‑matter expert for senior stakeholders.

Adhere to Service Level Agreements and manage escalation to business and technology management.

Identify and communicate risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues related to technology applications.

Drive compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Citi policies, ensuring ethical judgment in all duties.

Perform additional duties as assigned and operate with limited supervision, exercising independent judgment.

Qualifications

5–8 years of experience in an application support role.

Experience installing, configuring, or supporting business applications.

Preferred background in investment banking industry.

Programming skills in Python; willingness to learn additional languages.

Experience supporting Enterprise Container Solutions (ECS) hosted applications and ETL tools such as Ab Initio/Talend.

Advanced execution capabilities and the ability to adapt quickly to changes.

Effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.

Demonstrated analytical and problem‑management skills.

Proficiency in ServiceNow for issue tracking and reporting.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan workload effectively.

Consistent demonstration of clear and concise communication with stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

Location & Compensation

Primary location: Tampa, Florida, United States.

Full‑time position.

Annual base salary range: $87,280.00 – $130,920.00, plus discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
