Security Professional - Hospital Patrol Full-Time
in
New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help foster a secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security‑related incidents, while your exceptional customer service and communication skills support the caring culture of Allied Universal. What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and following site‑specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access or disturbances within the location.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients to provide assistance or information as needed.
Assist with access control processes and visitor management according to site guidelines.
Support Allied Universal and healthcare facility personnel during emergency situations and/or drills.
Minimum Requirements
Proof of vaccination may be required in accordance with hospital or healthcare facility policies.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
