Description You will be the Control Account Manager (CAM) for the F‑35 Simulation System Test Team (SST). Our team develops and delivers Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop simulation capabilities to the F‑35 Labs, providing realistic test environments that support flight‑software validation and system integration.

What You Will Be Doing As the Control Account and Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing cost and schedule performance across projects and programs within the Simulation and System Labs organization. Working as a member of the System Integration Labs project‑management team, you will collaborate with fellow CAMs and project leads to ensure key metrics — such as Schedule Forecast Accuracy, Baseline Execution Index, and Contract Performance Reports — are clearly understood and communicated.

Your responsibilities will include:

Utilizing EVMS to perform cost and schedule variance analysis and present findings to leadership.

Developing monthly estimate‑to‑complete assessments to forecast budget needs and drive financial decisions.

Maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to ensure accurate, up‑to‑date planning across all work streams.

Implementing scope changes and new program baseline activities in alignment with the established monthly business rhythm.

Supporting onsite events/meetings as required and assisting the deputy project lead with day‑to‑day leadership tasks.

Location Fort Worth, TX

Security and Clearance Requirements You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the STEM field.

Experience leading a project or working in a lab environment.

Desired Skills

Earned Value Management experience as a Control Account Manager

Experience in project engineering or project management

Familiarity with F‑35 Hardware‑In‑The‑Loop testing

F‑35 SAP/SAR Clearances

Proposal experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Work Schedules and Remote Work Part‑time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
