Our client, a growing and well-established organization, is seeking an experienced
Payroll Specialist
to join their team. This individual will be responsible for managing a
weekly payroll cycle for approximately 1,500 hourly and salaried employees
and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multi-state operations.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly payroll using
ADP and UKG
systems
Reconcile payroll reports and maintain accurate records
Ensure proper deductions for benefits, insurance, and garnishments
Create ad-hoc wage and management reports, including workers’ compensation information
Assist with year-end processing, including W-2s
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and escalated issues
Partner with HR and Finance teams on reporting, analysis, and special projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
Proven experience processing payroll using
ADP and UKG
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
