as a Psychiatrist (Relief/PRN) providing care in outpatient, emergency, and jail‑based settings across Harris County.

Responsibilities

Evaluate individuals and complete all assessments required by state and program standards.

Provide medication maintenance and crisis resolution services.

Prescribe and supervise rehabilitative therapies.

Maintain compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, and organizational standards.

Exercise prescriptive authority and supervise APRN and PA personnel.

Complete required training and attend designated meetings.

Perform related duties as requested or required by the employer.

Qualifications

MD from an accredited medical school with a completed psychiatry residency program.

Licensed to practice medicine in Texas; specialty in psychiatry.

Board‑eligible or board‑certified in General Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and/or Forensic Psychiatry.

Current controlled‑substance registration from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

Registered with the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP).

Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care and crisis services.
