Board-Certified General Rheumatologist
to join their team. The practice is established with an existing patient base, providing an immediate opportunity for the new rheumatologist to make an impact. Position Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for a
Board-Certified Rheumatologist
to become part of a multidisciplinary team, including ENT specialists, allergists, and NPs. You’ll work in a modern, well-equipped setting with strong administrative and clinical support and significant growth potential with an existing patient population. Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to an established patient base. Diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and autoimmune diseases including arthritis, lupus, osteoporosis, and other rheumatologic disorders. Perform joint injections, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed. Manage billing and coding processes for rheumatology services. Work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team of specialists, including ENT doctors, allergists, and NPs. No hospital call or weekend work; NPs take primary call. Participate in the continued growth and development of the rheumatology division. Qualifications
Board Certification in Rheumatology Active and unrestricted Louisiana State Medical Licensure (or willingness to obtain). 2–15 years of experience in clinical practice Knowledge of medical billing and coding preferred Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team CME stipend for professional development Comprehensive healthcare benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) 401k profit-sharing plan Malpractice insurance covered by the practice Potential for ownership in up to two surgery centers and the in-office pharmacy Apply Today!
