Base Pay Range
$250,000.00/yr - $265,000.00/yr
Job Summary We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Rheumatologist to join our growing specialty team in the Bronx. This physician will provide outpatient consultative and longitudinal care for patients with complex rheumatologic conditions while working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, patient-centered, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and management of autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal diseases
Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing including laboratories, imaging, and specialty procedures
Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on disease activity and clinical progress
Coordinate care with primary care physicians, rheumatology nursing staff, and other specialties to ensure seamless patient management
Maintain complete and timely electronic medical records in accordance with compliance standards
Participate in clinical quality initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the division
Provide patient education and long-term disease management support to enhance outcomes and quality of life
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of ACGME-accredited Rheumatology fellowship
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Rheumatology
Active New York State Medical License (or eligible to obtain)
Excellent interpersonal, diagnostic, and clinical judgment skills
Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary clinical team
