The Opportunity As an IBM Alliance FSO Sales Executive (SE), you’ll be part of one of the fastest growing Global Strategic Alliance organizations within EY. You’ll source new business from your personal network, IBM, Red‑hat, and within EY, evangelize the business value of EY solutions powered by IBM technology, and identify and progress new client opportunities for the FSO markets.

Your Key Responsibilities Lead Alliance sales activity by delivering against defined sales and pipeline targets; build relationships with top priority clients for joint alliance pursuits and drive direct market sales; serve as a subject matter expert on the alliance program, IBM‑powered transformations, and the joint EY‑IBM value proposition; maintain relevant alliance partner relationships; and lead pursuits independently through qualification if needed.

To qualify for the role

10-12 years of quota‑carrying sales experience in professional services, solutions, and technology.

Direct enterprise and alliance channel sales experience.

Experience selling enterprise solutions to Financial Services organizations.

Services sales experience at a Big‑4 firm or major GSI.

Experience teaming with other system integrators around joint services solutions.

Knowledge of IBM technology solutions and platforms.

Proven record of selling complex digital, technology, and managed services solutions to C‑level Fortune 500 companies.

Expert client management, strong executive presence, and influencing skills.

Knowledge of EY’s Alliances, products, and services.

Solid understanding of the marketplace, competitive intel, and target account profiles.

Strong knowledge of current and emerging sales tools, methodologies, and go‑to‑market models including social media.

Strong sector or technical content expertise.

Strong ability to manage and resolve conflict.

A university or bachelor’s degree.

Ideally, you’ll also have

An advanced degree or MBA.

Technical IT background.

Delivery management leadership experience.

Selling experience with IBM’s recent acquisitions such as Red‑hat, Apptio, SW AG, Hashicorp.

AI solution selling experience, ideally with IBM watsonx products.

Joint services experience.

Strong coaching and mentoring skills.

Team selling experience.

Ability to travel.

What We Offer You

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package with performance‑based pay and a robust incentive program. Base salary ranges from $221,410 to $280,070 across the US with variations for key metro areas.

Our hybrid model allows external, client‑serving roles to work in person 40‑60% of the time, blended with flexible remote work.

Under a flexible vacation policy, you decide how much vacation you need; we also grant time off for EY Paid Holidays and other leave as needed.
