Job Description
The QA Automation Lead will be responsible for leading and enhancing testing frameworks for both web and mobile applications.
This role involves driving technical and process improvements, implementing enterprise-level quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software delivery through automation and continuous integration practices.
Responsibilities
Lead QA automation initiatives across web and mobile platforms, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
Enhance and maintain existing test automation frameworks for scalability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand development frameworks and align testing strategies.
Design and develop automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Java, and JavaScript.
Automate testing for Web and Mobile applications built on AngularJS, React, React Native, and micro frontend/microservices architectures.
Implement and maintain enterprise quality processes and improvements.
Conduct API testing and automation using frameworks like Rest Assured or Karate.
Drive software delivery excellence through Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.
Provide technical leadership in QA automation tools, strategies, and process optimization.
Required Skills and Experience
8+ years of experience in mobile and web testing/automation.
Proven experience leading QA technical initiatives and driving process improvements.
Hands‑on experience with React Native testing and automation.
Strong understanding of TDD and CI/CD practices.
Experience in API testing and automation using open‑source frameworks (e.g., Rest Assured, Karate).
Experience developing and maintaining Web and Mobile automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Java, JavaScript, Appium, or similar tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
