Pay Base pay range: $85,100/yr – $185,300/yr. The typical U.S. base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $85,100 – $169,800 per year. In the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City Metropolitan Area the range is $112,000 – $185,300 per year.

As our Surface Category Manager, Consumer Channel Sales (CCS), you’ll be part of growing a multi-billion-dollar business, charting new areas of innovation and impacting billions of lives around the world. Responsibilities
Develop our Surface business in the direct channel across the US and Canada, building compelling assortments, driving category execution, and maintaining SKU-level forecasts to enable revenue and gross margin targets.
Oversee the entire product lifecycle for each SKU, from inception to discontinuation.
Maintain the category promotional calendar, set up promotions, and ensure competitive pricing.
Perform competitive analysis and trend research to support data‑driven assortment and pricing decisions.
Develop and manage forecast for Surface products, integrating key business drivers into the planning process.
Engage in weekly stakeholder discussions, organize meetings, and compile item setup files and promotional details.
Required Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of category management, product management, marketing strategy, business planning, or related experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Understanding of consumer sales channels, including knowledge of various retail formats and online sales platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of category management, product management, marketing strategy, business planning, or related experience.
Ability to influence and persuasively engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proven determination, resilience, and persistence in achieving business objectives.
Commitment to delivering high-quality work and attention to detail.
Effective interpersonal skills and a passion for the product line.
Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to explore complex concepts.
