$225,000.00/yr - $310,000.00/yr
Overview Join a nationally recognized trial and appellate team handling some of the most complex, high‑stakes appeals in the country. Our appellate group partners closely with trial teams on cutting‑edge disputes in commercial, intellectual property, and technology‑driven matters. This is a practice where strategy meets precision—attorneys here don’t just write briefs; they help shape the law.
Responsibilities
Handle appellate strategy and briefing in major commercial and IP‑related matters
Draft persuasive appellate briefs, dispositive motions, and trial support memoranda
Advise trial teams on issue preservation, jury instructions, and post‑trial motions
Conduct deep legal research and craft clear, strategic written advocacy
Work directly with partners and clients on complex, high‑value appeals
Qualifications
2–5 years of litigation experience focused on complex commercial, appellate, or IP matters
Federal appellate or district court clerkship—or a state supreme court clerkship
Demonstrated writing excellence and analytical depth
Comfort working with high‑tech subject matter (engineering or patent background not required)
